JIAM 2008 theme zone will present the most advanced technology and systems in the apparel, fibre and sewing industry. The theme zone will showcase sustainable business models focusing on three thematic solutions, namely:
”Marketing Solution” for establishing corporate social responsibility and trust, ”Technical Solution” for manufacturing with leading-edge technology and ”Environmental Solution” for protecting the global environment and the human being.

Composition of "Theme Zone"

“Marketing Solution” Zone will feature:

• an in-depth study of “Brand security system” and proper usage of registered trade mark;
• application of corporate social responsibility components such as compliance, corporate governance, disclosure and;
• review on the latest “terms & conditions / ethics codes” for building corporate social responsibility and trust in businesses.

“Technical Solution” Zone will showcase two key components:

• “Beyond Fibers” segment will present the most advanced textile technologies in 5 different categories: a) sustainable lifestyle b) biomimicry c) extreme environment d) nanotechnology e) comfort and functions, and
• “Material Navigation System” – a latest invention equipped with enhanced quality control feature that delivers superior performance

”Environmental Solution” Zone will present real life environment-friendly case studies through 5 key activities: development & planning, procurement, manufacturing, packing & logistics, and waste reduction & recycling that will help to preserve the environment.
